Action Against Hunger
Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian charity working in 43 countries worldwide. Their teams do their utmost day after day to ensure that people are given access to the most basic of human rights - the right to food.
The charity has been at the forefront of the fight against hunger and malnutrition for more than 25 years, and thanks to your help, their expert fieldworkers can continue to save the lives of malnourished children on the brink of death.
Action Against Hunger provide emergency food aid, water and relief items to families who have lost everything in places such as Darfur, Sudan. They also help vulnerable communities to sustain themselves by providing much needed tools and seeds, water to irrigate gardens, cattle, fruit and vegetable gardens. These are all simple, basic things but they make a difference, not just for a few days but for years to come.

By ordering through hungryhouse you too can join the fight against hunger worldwide.

Orders in 2008 generated £8309.80 worth of donations to Action Against Hunger.

We hope that by making it so easy for lots of us to make a small contribution, the end result will be bigger than any of us wouldhave achieved on our own. It couldn't be easier to make a difference - and it doesn't cost you a penny. Simply place your order online, and help to fill hungry tummies.
Thanks for your support!

Where does the money go?
All money raised goes directly to Action Against Hunger, helping millions of people to feed themselves and their families.

- £5 could pay for a full meal for 25 children
- £27 could pay for a survival kit that Action Against Hunger needs to save the life of a severely malnourished child in one of their Therapeutic Feeding centres
- £250 could pay for antibiotic treatment for 300 severely malnourished children in one of their Therapeutic Feeding centres for two weeks

In 2006, 82% of each pound donated went directly into their programs. A further 12% was used for fund raising, and running costs accounted for 6%.
