The food is really good. The service was really quick.
The only minus comes from the fact that I had specifically asked to not put coriander in any of the dishes orderd. It was in all of them. Adriano, CB4

Ordered for delivery, accidentally kept the delivery man waiting but he found me! Food was excellent and not too oily; definitely recommended.

Food arrived very quickly but with rice instead of bhaji. Delivery person returned with bhaji and apology :)

Best curry house in Cambridge due to its authentic style. Dishes prepared to a high standard rather than just slopping it into a tray. Full marks.

The food was quite nice and the portions where good. I did however expect the vindaloo to be a bit hotter. Overall though, I was satisfied and can say I definately enjoyed my meal.

I never like having to pay a delivery charge, so was annoyed that Ahar charges one. Besides this, the food was great.

Rice can be a little wet dumped stright from the box but other than that it was a perfect curry at arrived in under an hour. But lets me honest not many places deliver in 30mins anyway.

Decided to give Ahar another go after recent dissapointment, however this time am extremely peeved, On your site you are obviously mis representing your prices!!!
On delivery i was told there is another delivery charge of £1.30 which took my total order too 11.80, when it clearly states that delivery is free on orders over £10 which is why i decided to use Ahar over the Nirala. Very upset, you need to make sure your prices are correct, customers do not appreciate being lied to! William, CB4

Response from hungryhouse: Hi William, I am sorry to hear that you were charged a delivery fee you had not expected. Ahar have just introduced a new delivery fee, and we weren't aware until you contacted us about this problem. Our website has now been updated to reflect this change. Because we don't like to see our customers surprised by price changes, hungryhouse will reimburse you for the delivery fee from this order. For future customers, the fee is now clearly displayed on the menu. Sorry once more for this rare problem. I hope you enjoyed your meal and had a good night nonetheless. The owner of Ahar has also gotten in touch to say this: "I apologise for the confusion with this delivery charge. I would like to offer a free starter to this customer as way of an apoligy. We always strive to offer good customer service. Thanks. Mr Hussain" [customer emailed this response]

It took over an hour from food order placed to food arriving, then the company tried to charge me on delivery. I mentioned I had paid online. The bill did not show this.
The rice was very watery, the chicken korma was good , very large pieces of chicken good nan also. Long Time / Watery Rice / Tried to charge me. Otherwise great M, CB2
