Food was a lower quality to what I am used to from an Indian takeway

The starters were good but the main courses were swimming in oil and somewhat disappointing. I would probably order starters again and dry Tandoori main courses but not the best Indian I have had for some time. Delivery was good and they called to confirm the order details and delivered it on time which was also good

We were pleased with the delivery.

good size portions...wrong rice.....balti not the best ive had, but certainly not the worst. I will definately use this curry house again...but maybe trying something different. Top service and easy to order via website.

 

Chicken Korma was extremely dry.

Fast polite delivery and every dish was excellent. Hungryhouse was straightforward and easy to use - will definitely use it again and recommend it to others.

The korma was incredibly sweet (and that is from someone with a sweet tooth!!). The lamb was quite fatty and the free poppadums were rather greasy. however, the peshwari naan and the sag aloo were really good.
I would try another curry from Al-Amin but would move up the spice scale a little!!

Al-Amin was a welcome change from the usual oily curry with no flavour besides the curry burn. The prawns were genuine king prawns and not shrimps and the dish had loads of flavours coming through. The chicken curry was amazing with nice large pieces of chicken in a fantastic thick sauce with a nice med/hot curry spice. The order was received piping hot in under 30mins which was fantastic considering it was a Saturday evening... We will definitely eat from Al-Amin again!

Too oily food. They do provide tasty food but they need be health conscious as well.

Food was actually quite tasty (but only lukewarm) and portions generous. However, the food did take almost 90 minutes to arrive. A delivery driver called after 40 minutes to say that he could not find our address, but his English was so poor that we could not direct him, or figure out where he was. After 4 comedic phone calls from the delivery driver, we called the restaurant for their translation services. Clearly not a good idea to send out delivery drivers who neither know the local area nor have even a basic grasp of the English language!

Easy website to use - thank you! Order was received within 25 minutes and was lovely and hot. One thing was wrong - raita should have had tomato and onion but we got the plain option - but that didn't affect our meal at all. Very nice!
