"Food arrived half an hour LATER than the latest possible delivery time stated in the order acceptance email (i.e. food will arrive between x and x, but definitely no later than x). When finally delivered I was asked to pay, to which I responded that I had already paid on-line. This was met by a rather confused response, although the driver did eventually accept my declaration and leave. The food was almost cold - needed reheating, and wasn't enjoyable on either a taste or presentation level. Sorry to write such a negative review, but I'm afraid this was the way it happened. Response from hungryhouse: I am very sorry to hear about the problems with this order. Baan Thai have been with our service for a very long time, so this delivery driver was probably a new employee, to whom the online payment option had not been properly explained. We will be in touch with the restaurant management to ensure this does not happen again. "Food arrived early. Which was good this time. I was left a little surprised by the delivery man informing me that now I have a menu I shouldn't order on line as they have to pay for the service. (For me the whole point is convienence and online menus, he doesn't seem to get that point.) The beef main and sticky rice was fantastic but the tempura vegetables left a a lot to be desired - most end up in the bin. A little disapointed based on the previous reviews. Wouldn't recommend."

"The meal was 10 minutes late. When I called the restaurant to ask where the delivery was I was told it was on its way and offered no apology. One of the dishes was burnt, two of them were cold. The soup however was very good."
