Not very impressed I'm afraid. For the prices I expected better than what we got - which was of the standard of your average £4-£5 chinese takeaway. delivery took too long as well. I'm not happy!

Chicken satay was very tasty: chicken was a little tough and dry but its flavours and those of the satay sauce more than made up for this. The thai fishcakes were not good: rubbery and dry. The beef red curry was very flavoursome - a good dish, just a shame it was so runny. The egg fried rice was ok. The food arrived late because the driver got to the doorstep then realised he did not have the drinks. He went back to the restaurant to get these but in the process the food was no better than lukewarm when it got here.

Spent £42 and we were left feeling very very disappointed. The starters were bland and overcooked and we were unable to finish our main courses due to them being insanely salty. The portions were meagre and did not represent good value for money.

The worst Thai food I've ever had - the starters were fried to death. The flavours didn't even taste Thai. Everything was just sloppy and not as if it were made with any level of attention

When my order didn't arrive I called up Baan Thai to see where it was, I was told "the girl cooking is not the normal one and a bit slow". As it was almost an hour and a half since I ordered I asked for a discount but was told "Already given 15% to hungryhouse for order so no discount". When eventually the food arrived it was cold and I complained again to the delivery guy. He said "I can't go to fast or I get ticket", and came up with every excuse in the book. Eventually when I refused to sign for the order he gave me £3 back and reluctantly apologised. Even heated up the food was poor, I'd never order from these guys again.

The 'Pad Thai' Special noodles was the main dish ordered that particularly went down well. A sweet noodle dish, would recommend having. Although I will couple it with 2 different items the next time I order from Baan Thai.
