Another take away company that doesn't deliver to the door!!! Had to go down stairs in my pyjamas to collect food!!! Food was ok but not anything to get excited about! Shame

The gujarati pumpkin and the sukka kari were delicious. Everything else was very good. The only negative is that the containers were sopaked in oil.

People are certainly loyal Babur and having lived in Brockley for so many years you come to realise it's a Brockley institution. I've ordered from them before but never understood all the fuss. We decided to give Babur another chance with the recent hungryhouse discount offer and they really came good. The food was superb, a proper taste of my mum's cooking. The chicken bhuna was succulent and fresh and the saag aloo had just the right amount of kick. The portions are not as generous as some other take aways, definitely not mum sized portions! However, it's about quality not quantity and we were very satisfied.

Delivered in super speed time and still very hot. Amazing, delicious food and so much. Babur always delivers in every way. Can't recommend this place enough!!

We ordered from Babur To Go because our regular Indian takeaway in Brockley was closed and I had heard good things about their main restaurant. I don't know why they sent us 3 side salads which we didn't order, I would have preferred complimentary popadoms instead. I liked the Chicken Tikka, it was perfectly cooked with a rich spiced flavour, the lamb pasanda was rather sweet for my liking but the meat was tenderly cooked. The Pilau rice was authentic with cardamom, however naan bread was a bit cold and soggy. The samosas were a bit heavy I think they had been wrapped in naan bread, I prefer the kind with a thin pastry. Overall the food was fine quality by takeaway standards but not as good as I was expecting from Babur.

I had a lot of expectation about Babur but unfortunately did not deliver! I waited more then one hour for the food! Onion bhaji no salt, 3 small crab coconut cake, chicken tikka dry and tasteless, prawn kurma so sweet that I was thinking they put sugar instead of salt(after few bites i could not eat it anymore),sag aloo, 2 rice and 1 nan at 27.50! Sorry but I will never order again! Maybe I will try the restaurant but as take away I think they need to do some improvement; lots of better and cheaper Indian restaurant on the Market! I work in the catering industry and if this food was served in a restaurant I would ask for part of my money back!Such a shame!

Very prompt delivery, food was lovely and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely order again.

THE CHICKEN KURMA WAS NOT THE BEST I HAVE HAD. HAVE TO SAY THAT IF THAT HAD BEEN SERVED IN A RESTAURANT TO ME I WOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK CHICKEN DRY AND OVERCOOKER IN A KURMA HOW DO THEY MANAGE THAT ??????

The food arrived a little cold and the nan bread was burnt. A shame as i have ordered from them many times and they have been great.

Food was all if a good standard. Nothing special but good overall.
