Generally, very nice. A few issues were, the keema nan had nothing in it. The chicken bengal chilli and garlic was very nice but is described as having peppers. There were no peppers at all. But I would still order again.

I ordered chicken tikka biryiani with nan, onion bahji and 3 poppadoms, mint sauce, onions and mango chutney. This fed 2 people and was really delicious, the best chicken tikka biriyani i have ever eaten! (and I've eaten a lot!- it's my favourite dish) Really flavoursome, we were both really impressed - and completely full after. Thank you Balti Raj - I will definitely order again!:)

First order here. The Jalfrezi and Bhuna were delicious. Spicy enough to tingle the tastebuds. The order was well within the specified time and the food was hot when delivered. Will order again, though will try something else next time.

I'm a huge curry fan and hvaing recently moved into the area was in need of a local good indian takeaway. Balti Raj ticks all the boxes - the food arrived on time, piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Nicely spiced with lovely subtle flavours coming through and huge portions! I'd actually say it was far better than my old takeaway place and that's saying something! Highly recommended - I will be back :)

I got a dish I didn't order, cheaper than dish that missing from order. but charged for both (?) very disappointing overall -- dishes that supposed to be mild were inedible by the friends visiting me, who ordered a mild dish, got strength of madras. Having said that, whoever is cooking there, puts chilli in everything at same level and chucks in a bit more for "hot" dishes.
This used to be a good restaurant.Sad to see what they provide now at double the price. Delivery person wouldn't believe the meal was paid for, so had to hang around, food getting cold, whilst he tried to work out how to phone the restaurant -- maybe he was new -- give him benefit of doubt.
