I ordered large donner meat and chips and received a very generous potion and exactly as ordered (no salad + garlic sauce). I also ordered a quarter pounder with cheese which again was received as ordered (with only lettuce and onion and no sauce). The food arrived hot and on time and I was very pleased with the experience. Unfortunately, I had a recent order which wasn't up to the usual standards so it is good to see that it was a one off and everything appears to resumed normal levels of service.

I ordered online at 7.55 and it was delivered at 9.27. I understand that places can get busy but a courtesy phone call to apologise for any delay can go a long way. I called at 9.06 just to make sure the order had been received and was told the driver had already left. Bambino's is 5 minutes drive away from my house (in fact to walk takes only 15 mins) so there was no reason for it to take 20 minutes. Because of this I believe the information I was given was not entirely the truth.

I ordered a mixed kebab meal for my partner, who said his was fine. I ordered a lamb kebab with chips and Hummus and pitta bread. The majority of the meat I got (75%) was dry, the chips were fine. The pitta was cold (the menu stated "served with hot bread" and the hummus was good except I don't think it was kept refrigerated.

All in all, if the food was good, I could have overlooked the hour and a half wait, but I will not be ordering from here again.
