It’s a big day here for us here at hungryhouse as we’re hugely excited to be revealing the UK’s Top Takeaways in 2013.

For the first time ever, hungryhouse has compiled a list of the top takeaways across the nation.  We looked at all of the data on the 11,000 restaurants on the hungryhouse platform and created rankings based on restaurant popularity, customer reviews and return rates.

Thai New Year

This weekend is Thai New Year or ‘Songkran’ as it’s traditionally known in South-East Asia.  Here in the hungryhouse office, as Songkran approaches, we’ve been discussing the various merits of Thai food which has led to some debate on Thai versus Indian food and it’s stirring up some controversy…

This week has been an exciting one for hungryhouse as we’re happy to announce that we’ve now been fully acquired by the international online food ordering platform Delivery Hero, who we’d initially merged with last year.  We’ve also recently purchased EatitNow.co.uk, another UK online food ordering service, which means they’ll be a greater number of restaurants in our network and therefore more choice for you, the customer.
