Imperial Dragon, Hammersmith: Review of the Week

Our Review of the Week winner, Shirley, reports that her fortune from Imperial Dragon came true. We’re guessing the fortune cookie read something like: ‘abundance will manifest itself in a £25 hungryhouse voucher.’

Shirley ordered the perfect takeaway from Imperial Dragon, including fresh pak shoi and crispy beef. She’s left us wondering, how does crispy beef manage to be crispy and chewy at the same time?

“Yum! Usual warp factor delivery with a smile and it was a truly tasty meal.

I’m a creature of habit so had my old favourites duck with green peppers and black bean sauce (back to fine form after a dip last time), squid with pak choi (what is it about pak choi that makes it sooooo delicious at the same time as feeling virtuous cos it’s green?) and crispy chilli beef (best ever – crispy and chewy – in a good way of course). 2 free soft drinks have gone in the fridge – very kind, presents are always welcome in this house!

To cap it all I had my fortune cookie for breakfast and it already came true. How good is that?
