Mumbai Square, Aldgate: Review of the Week

Everyone knows that the most important element of a takeaway is, of course, the food. But what about the service? As many of our reviewers know, the difference between a good takeaway experience and a great one is often the the person delivering it.

These unsung heroes who are dedicated to appeasing your hunger with delicious treats, often go unnoticed… unless of course, they go that extra mile (excuse the pun). But, as our Review of the Week winner John found out, these guys really do make all the difference.

John wins £25 of hungryhouse vouchers to put towards another ‘excellent’ meal!

Finally! An Indian restaurant that isn´t afraid to make their dishes authentically flavoursome with yummy spices! This place is EXCELLENT!!!

Order came quickly and was delivered by an adorable man wearing a suit and bow tie! He was extremely nice and even said that he hoped we enjoyed the meal and then invited us to come to the restaurant next time as it is only around the corner from our house. This would have been enough for me to write a good review purely based on their excellent service- then we tasted the food!!! Delicious! Highly recommend the Palak Paneer and the house specialties! They even gave us a massive pappadum for free.

If you want a good Indian meal- order from these guys!”

Mumbai Square is a restaurant i have not visited but decided to get a take away done. firstly the take away was delayed post which we get a call from the driver who after having the post code was in a different world .. no where close to where i stay.. when i called the restaurant to check on my order..he received and spoke to me with so much attitude…  after 2 hrs we received the feed… which was by far the worst indian food i have ever eaten… i would recommend you to stay hunger instead of ordering with them…

      Hi Seema

Sorry to hear that you had an unsatisfactory takeaway experience with Mumbai Square – other customers of ours who have visited this restaurant and used their takeaway service were thrilled with the service they received, nevertheless that doesn’t excuse your service! I would recommend taking up the issue with the hungryhouse customer care team (help@hungryhouse.com) who will be more than happy to deal with your complaint. I’ve let them know about your issue and they will be contacting you soon.

I hope you can accept our sincere apologies,

      Regards
      The hungryhouse team
