Panda Pizza and Burgers, Acton: Review of the Week
The renowned Pamela Anderson once said, “with such low expectations it’s easy to impress.” Well Pam, our friend Ed might agree with that statement based on his review of Panda Pizza and Burgers. But it wasn’t his low expectations that made the food succulent, spicy and rich, it was the food itself!
Ed Wins Review of the Week for his honest depiction of a lazy night in and how Panda pizza and hungryhouse made it a great success. He discovered the simple truth that if a classic pizza is done right the result is pure magic. Ed reminds us that you can’t judge a pizza by it’s price tag and that a truly satisfying meal speaks for itself- literally.
Ed wins £25 for his next hungryhouse order.
“At a mere £19, the double meal deal didn’t necessarily seem promising from the start. Automatically my expectations were low, as the value for money just seemed too good to be true.
“Surely these ‘large’ pizzas cannot be both cheap and tasty?!” I thought to myself and I began to almost regret choosing the lazy, takeaway option.
However, when the food arrived, a brisk 25 minutes after it had been ordered, my fears were banished. The pizzas were hot, well-cooked and generous with toppings, succulent yet spicy slices of Pepperoni and ham brightening up the rich tomato and mozzarella base.
It was a joy – when I leant back in my chair after consuming the final mouthful, loosened my belt a couple of notches and belched a biological indication of approval, I felt truly satisfied.
Thanks Panda pizza and hungryhouse. You guys really nailed it.”
