The food was very late and the staff were unhelpful when I rang to enquire about its whereabouts. When it did eventually arrive it was barely lukewarm.

The food arrives 20 minutes after the time it should have been (8.20pm, not between 7 and 8). When it did arrive, much of it was cold or lukewarm. The naan, especially, was cold and inedible. This was the worst of dozens of meals we've had from the Bombay Bicycle Club, and very disappointing. We were given no explanation as to why our delivery was so delayed.

The order turned up about a minute before the end of the expected delivery time. As it was a Tuesday evening it wouldn't be expected it would take them so long. The food was, of course, at this stage completely cold.

Tasty dishes with fresh ingredients - the aubergine was a particular surpise - I'd wished we'd got it as a main rather than a side. Its great to see dishes with with whole tomatoes and baby leaf spinach rather than typical take away fare which is a general mush and nothing that looks like an actual vegetable! The lamb was indeed tender as promised and the free pompadoms the cherry on the cake, (or maybe the corriander on the balti, for a more appropriate metaphor!)

I placed my order at 19.45 last night. It took 25 mins for BB to accept my order and they eventually delivered at 21.45, an impressive 45 mins out of the delivery slot. I particularly enjoyed the phone conversation I had with one member of staff who blamed the lateness on the "weather conditions". Is a bit of rain really that difficult to handle? The food was tepid when it arrived and wasn't as good as I was expecting for the money I paid. all in all, not impressed.
