Was very disappointed with the order today, I had ordered a few times from this place the food in general was pretty good, but the delivery time was bad, but this time it was terrible. I live about 5-10mins drive from the restaurant. Understand its Fri, but the ordered took more than an hour to be delivered, the onion bhaji, had 1 bite & binned the rest, it was soggy & luke warm.
The remainig 2 dishes was a little bit better, but not pipping hot. Probably give Fri & Sat a miss or probably try the other Indian restaurants. This restaurant has let me down a little to many times. Duc toan, SW9

We have eaten at the Bombay Inn on Brixton Hill many a time. Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 occasions we have had takeaway delivered in the past month I have been disappointed. I ordered a Jalfrezi the first time and most recently a Rogan (which I requested be fairly hot) on both occasions I expected them to be fairly hot with chilli's and they were not. This is a great shame as whenever we eat in the restaurant we always get excellent food. Don't let this put you off, just be very explicit on how hot you want your meal to be.

tried for first time due to the high ratings here. Waited over an hour for delivery (but it was a saturday night and the food was not cold when it arrived), but wasn't worth waiting an hour for either, driver was apologetic though.
The chicken pasanda was very poor, dry chicken breast chunks straight from a freezer packet, sauce was very bland and not freshly prepared, no evidence of almonds. The kashmiri rice felt dry and reheated too. The kachumber salad was also not as listed in the menu, but basically cabbage and onion. I had wanted to try something diffeernt and was disappointed after waiting so long and will not use this outlet again D, SW16
