If you are considering ordering from here. don't dilly dally. Our meal took an hour and a half to arrive after we ordered, 15 minutes after the end of the specified "delivery window". The poppadoms were very good, but then you can't really go wrong making a poppadom. The starters were poor, especially the King Prawn Puri, which contained a couple of microscopic bits of a prawn, the rest was just sauce. That said the main courses were delicious, so perhaps next time just order different starters, and don't hang about. Or then again try somewhere else.

The flavour of the Korma was very nice although the chicken tasted a bit bland. The sundries were all decent. I think the price was too high for what it actually was. And the wait of 90 minutes before it was delivered was extreme.

Food ok, still not upto the usual standard that we have come to expect. The chicken was dry and no sauce came as it usually does. When we called the restaurant, the waiter was adamant that it didn't come accompanied with a sauce and was bordering on being rude.
We like this restaurant and it would be a shame to stop using them. Jonathan, L16

Sekander is not as cheap as other Indian takeaways, and do not give very good portions in relation to what you pay, which they usually do. This was an average meal, I hope that the next one is better. Also after paying on line, the driver/delivery agent asked us for the money again!!!!! I had to print off the receipt to show him!!!! NOT VERY IMPRESSED!!! Chicken was well overcooked as well.

We have eaten at Cafe Sekander several times where the food and service have been excellent - that is why we thought we'd try them for a tae away. The food, however was disappointing as it was very runny and thin.

It was this first and last time I'll order from here. The starter of fish doser was lovely, for main course I had vegetable biryani, which was sitting in a pool of watery liquid and tasted of nothing! My husband had mango chicken, which he said the sauce was nice but the chicken tasted rubbery and pre cooked.
