Not the usual great service from Chan's. Soggy chips and overcooked noodles with no veg (I'd ordered veg chow mein) made for a poor meal, most of which ended up in the bin. Money down the drain with this order. Or perhaps I should say money in the bin...

I ordered Duck Chow Mein with vegetables and sauce - It was very tasty and the portions of duck and veg were very generous. The sauce did make the noodles a bit softer and slipperier than I would have liked, but all in all it was pretty good.

The duck was overly fatty but tasty and the hoisin sauce was like jelly. Quite odd. The beef in black bean had a nice flavour but the meat was very chewy and unpleasant. The satay chicken skewers were well cooked and flavoured nicely but the sauce resembled a clear jelly and it was off-putting.
Delivery was on time and the driver was very pleasant. Overall not bad but wouldn't use again. Bethaney, SO16

Gourmet starter missing Spare ribs. Not very nice eating at all. They sent another correct starter when we contacted them, but by then mains were cold. Overall disappointing.

The food came promptly and was good quality, hot and one of the best Chinese we have had. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be using again!
