The food was ok. I didn't like that they pushed back my order time, by the time it finally turned up I was just a little annoyed. It was fairly cheap considering how much I got, but it was of satisfactory standard. I'll look elsewhere next time

The worst korma I have ever eaten, it was like water. No flavour whatsoever. The rice was watery too and the garlic nann bread had very little flavour. It was an awful meal and I felt sick that I had paid £12 for what can only be described as inedible. If I had have been in a restaurant I wouldn't have paid, and I have never complained in a restaurant in my life!

I placed an order with chicago king 16/01 and paid online. It was delievered and on opening the order the coleslaw was missing. I immediately called the delivery man and asked him about it and he said he would get the shop to ring me. I waited 10 minutes and received no call, I called him back and he said he would get them to ring me. Eventually they rang and I was told there was no coleslaw, I said fair enough but you need to refund me the money! They said next time they would send some, I said I didnt want it next time, as they had done that previously with an order and never sent the missing item next time. This discussion went on for a while and they were reluctant to do anything. I told them to phone yourselves and ask you to refund me the money online, because they were using the excuse that they had no money there because I had paid online, and to phone me back. Again 10 minutes past and I heard nothing so phoned them back. The manager answered and was extremely aggressive with me, he said I had to call HH not him, to which I informed him, if he didnt have the full order he shouldnt have accepted it and taken money for a product he wasnt going to provide, therefore it was his mistake and responsibility. They said they had tried phoning and telling mebefore delivering the order, but they had not, and I know they had my correct number and my phone was working as the delivery man phoned me on delivery. The manager told me he was going to phone you, ask you to refund the whole order and told me never to order from them again, like it was my fault?! He then told me to 'shut the f*** up now' and hung up on me. I understand that it was only a pound, but it is the principle of it. If this is the second time they have done it to me, how many times have they done it to other people, it isn't right having money charged and them expecting it to be fine that they dont send you the correct order.

Rice was watery and soggy. curry was bland. ordered onion bhajis but was given onion rings.
in special requests field, advised that my flat was apart from the rest of the house and exactly where it was located. delivery driver did not knock - called and asked me to come collect from him. only a small niggle but just topped off all of the above problems. Have ordered from here and really enjoyed the food but will definitely reconsider before ordering again! Marc, L8

Food was fine (this equates to very hot when the dish in question is a Ceylon curry, and the popaddoms were crispy), arrived on time and the driver was pleasant.

I've ordered from here in the past and had no trouble, but this time they arrived over an hour late with the delivery driver instantly proclaiming "it's not my fault, honest!" The food was cold and really unsatisfying, wish I hadn't wasted my money, never again...
