While the food turned up swiftly and was hot; it was disappointing in the extreme. The seaweed was so salty it was inedible, the chow mein was very oily, as was the beef in black bean sauce which lacked any strong flavour, despite having a few bits of chili floating around in it. A real pity as the crispy duck was very good indeed, but I won't be ordering from them again.

the shredded noodles were great as usual but the supposed Chicken Balls should have been renamed Batter Balls with a strand of chicken and grease so would not recommend them to anyone after tonight's meal and to top it off some of the prawn crackers were stale so not enjoyable

Not our nearest Chinese, but was just right for us. The meat in the dishes was good quality, everything was hot, nothing was greasy and the delivery was very speedy. Will definitely be getting our Chinese from here in the future.

Service really quick....massive portions....thai curry was a little different but I did order it from a chinese so fair enough! The rest was yummy. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was excellent.

I've been informed that I cannot make a personal comment about the staff of the restaurant in question regardless of relevance to my experience. So I won't. Suffice to say I would not waste any money ordering food from this establishment again as the serice is substandard, the food arrives late and needed to be heated by microwave - which kind of defeats the purpose of having food delivered.
My reccommendations to the restaurant would be to invest in some customer service training and perhaps a Tom Tom so that the drivers are able to locate addresses easily. Whatever you do please do not order food from here - you are likely to be dissapointed!!!! or hungry!!! Kevin, TW8

Just what you want from a local Chinese, good portions, popular comfort dishes and not too greasy!

My egg fried rice and vegetable chow mein were very bland. I needed to add extra soy sauce and it was still lacking something. The spicy sweet chili sauce that came with my prawn toast was nice. Pak choi was a little chewy but ok. Nice seaweed. Overall lacking something.....

Another excellent value for money meal from China Pearl. The £18 set meal for two was once again very large. It would easily stretch to more than two without complaint. Delivery was fast and well packaged. There are better quality take aways in our area, there are places that your food would be just that little bit better. But I have not found a better value take away and if your hungry this is the place to order from.
