Really quick service, great food, and lots of it!

The food was good, but a little on the expensive side for a Chinese takeaway. Also, the delivery guy called twice to find the address, which is not really difficult to find and the 2nd time actually asked us to come out and meet him at the nearby underground station!!! There's a reason why people order takeaway, it's because they don't feel like going out of the house. In the end he made it, hence I rated the service as poor only, instead of awful. All in all OK, although I doubt we'll order from there again, purely so we won't have to give the same directions 5 times over! Maybe a satnav and/or some road training of the area should be in order?

Oh, the fortune cookies were a nice surprise, but only 2 out of 3 had a fortune in it - the other one was empty :( Not really sure how you could mitigate that one though..

I order from here almost every other day...pick anything on the menu with your eyes shut and you still cant go wrong. Best Chinese takeout in London.

Always great food and so quickly delivered it actually comes faster usually that the earliest expected delivery time.

The meat is always great and nothing ever has that awful greasy taste and feeling you get with a lot of chinese takeaways.

Been getting takeaways from here for 5 years now and wouldnt dream of changing.

Arrived quickly, food is consistent and good price.

ordered the set meal for 1, which was easily enough for 2! Chicken in batter - rather too much thick batter for my liking, but otherwise all very tasty.

Roast pork rice was nice, but chiken balls were undercooked. Duck in plum sauce was fatty and portion was small.

never let's me down, i've tried other's but always come back to china pearl.

We've given up. even though they messed up our order twice before we thought the food was ok and price well. But last night we spent £27 on an order and they did it again... No more, wont ever use them again. We checked the order at the door, told the delivery guy who said he would return with the missing dish and never came back. And the food we did have was stale tasting - rubbish. Really bad. Wont be using them again.

We have become regular clients of China Pearl, however we may well be changing to another restaurant as they offer free prawn cracker which they always forget to deliver. Now this may seem a bit of a silly thing to highlight but my girlfriend is a fiend for prawn crackers dipped in sweet and sour sauce. So we make our order, even ordering the sweet and sour sauce then they for get the crackers. It does ruin a meal sitting with a pot of sauce and no crackers when you have a yen for a certain something to quench your taste buds. Also it is not on to offer a promotional item then not deliver it.

the food was standard tasting but i did ask for the chicken to be changed to beef in oyster sauce i even phoned to check they would but when it arrived it was beef in black bean but i cant eat that for health reason i didnt complain as waiting long enough but would say something if i ordered again
