Its Christmas (almost), the season of expectation and hope. I was in the mood for some Chinese cuisine and decided to try China Pearl as they've had some excellent reviews recently. My previous orders earlier in the year had been dissappointing and not to their usual standards. 25 minutes later and way before scheduled time my order arrived. Quarter if crispy duck, so delicious I considered calling to order a whole one, satay chicken on sticks, flavoursome and tender, chilli beef, winner, crispy chicken balls spring rolls and rice. All equally delectable in their own right. Topped off with free prawn crackers, fortune cookies making 2012 look pretty good and a free calender for 2012 wishing us a merry Christmas. Excellent service China Pearl, Hope fulfilled and expectations excelled. A very Merry Christmas to you.

All-round excellence. Ordered food through Hungry House at 5.30 and it arrived at 6.20. All dishes were piping hot on delivery. We had a member of our group who didn't like chinese food, so opted for chips which were crispy, golden and hot. However, on seeing the food decided to try some and was converted! Vegetable chow mein had plenty of various vegetables and could be an excellent vegetarian main by itself. Delivery driver cheerful and courteous. Will be ordering from China Pearl again.

We live in the US and our daughter attends school in London. We had to spend Thanksgiving apart this year, which was hard for our family. I remembered ordering from your website when I visited her this summer. The food was always hot and delicious. She hasn't ordered in a while because for a student the prices were too much for her budget. We wanted to do something so that she would know that she was a part of our family celebration as well, so I ordered a huge meal for her from China Pearl. When it was delivered, we turned on Skype and started our dinner off together. She cried, we sent lots of love, and you delivered a very Happy Thanksgiving for us!

the food was ok. the deep fried squid was a little soggy and unfortunately they gave me duck with pineapple and something that looked like rhubarb when i ordered duck in plum sauce. The crispy wontons were very empty and quite tasteless. the service was polite and prompt and the food was quite good value for the amount you get

Order was great as usual. This is the fourth time we have ordered from China Pearl and it has always been very good! Food was hot, delicious and delivery time was speedy.
