The food was nice and the prices were good and are pretty much what you expect to pay in the Richmond borough, I have bought food from there on a number of occasions and haven't been dissappointed it was not the best Ive tasted and there was a lack of sauce in my duck and oyster sauce, but over all okay.

Excellent all round! The Pad Thai and chilli squid were both superb, and everything else was excellent too - even the service was quick, and we'll definitely be ordering again...

Standard is normally really good, but this was disgusting. I ordered prawns (in batter) the batter and prawns were really dry, like they had been lying around for hours. I couldn't finish it and binned it all.

Also, there is a minimum charge of £12 for delivery which is terrible considering the quality of food which arrived! Never, ever ordering from China Pearl again!

This poor review is caused by the service from China Pearl, which was nothing short of appalling. 70 minutes after receiving the confirmation of order acceptance, I called to find out where my order was. I was told that the delay was due to the poor weather, and the food was on its way. I asked for confirmation that the food had actually been dispatched, and I was told it had left five minutes earlier. The driving time from China Pearl to my address is 8 minutes - I have driven it myself in no more than 15 minutes during rush hour. 15 minutes later, I called back again, asking to know what the status of my order was. I was told that he would call the driver, and call me back. 12 minutes later, I finally receive a call from the delivery guy, who was at the end of our street, having failed to read the address correctly. He asked that I step outside to receive delivery, so I had to go outside in the rain to wait for him to find his way down to the end of the street. I finally received my order more than an hour and a half after I ordered it. The food was (surprisingly) warm-to-hot, which can only mean it had left the restaurant in the previous 10-15 minutes, as the delivery vehicle was a moped so no other deliveries had been done before ours.

The food itself was below average at best - the pork was dry, the chicken balls were greasy. Sometimes the food quality is overlooked when you're hungry and kept waiting, but this was generally poor.

I will not be ordering from this place again.

Food very good and quick as usual(I suppose it helps that I am a 2 minute drive away from them). However I asked them to hold on the onions and not bother sending the prawn crackers. They just ignored my requests and the food had a lot of onions and there was a packet of prawn crackers included. However I will still continue to use them as I have done for the past few years.

China Pearl was my first order via Hungry House and, I'm pleased to say, it was a positive experience. The food arrived on time, was still hot and portion sizes were generous.

Once again, another excellent meal from China Pearl. Delivery was prompt and the food was tasty and warm. Thank you.

Decent food; I ordered the char Sui (pork), egg-fried rice, Wan Ton soup and pineapple fritters. The soup was beautiful - clear tasty broth with creamy dumplings. The pork and rice was also good. The pineapple fritters could have been lighter; they were too 'doughy'. But good overall and I would definitely use again.

Far too much onion and salt in all dishes. Their chips are amazing though :)

We had an excellent meal which was delivered in good time. we'll definitely be ordering again!
