The food was bland and gloopy. I was really disappointed having read other people's review for this take-away. Despite clearly specifying that I did NOT want Pork in my Singapore noodles, Chuan still added pork to the dish. They did however, deliver within 20mins.

The crispy duck was excellent but the other things I ordered were too salty (esp. crispy seaweed) and greasy. I was annoyed that I had to pay a 50p surcharge when using a card and it was a debit card!

Food is very good if you choose the right dishes. I have order on a number of occasion and am still going through what's good and what's not. On this occasion I had prawn on toast which was pretty average, however 'squid in salt and chilli' was melt-in-the-mouth delicious. My favourite is 'pork tripe and tongue with spicy oil sauce' which if you are not screamish is what I regard as authentic chinese and really tasty with plain rice.

THE WORST CURRY I HAVE EVER HAD .... GOODNESS .... the egg fried rice was the only edible thing! CURRY WAS A REAL DISASTER ........

First time I've ordered from them. Food was very tasty and good portions. I've been struggling to find a good chinese takeaway in the ealing area, but will definitely order from chuan again.

I have ordered many many times from chuan but yesterday's food was so bad that it compelled me write a review. The double cooked pork was probably triple cooked -- the pieces were dry and tough. It was way way too salty and the meat looked like stale. I have ordered the same dish at least 5 times before yo know very well that it was really bad.
Crispy prawn in salt and pepper was anything but crispy. It was almOst mushy and looked drenched in stale oil and water. Really bad. Again have ordered this dish many times before to know something was seriously wrong. All said and done the food and service from chuan are generally good and I am hoping that this was truly one off.
