Good food but I thought it should be spicy? There's no spice at all.

I am new to the area and decided to venture into Hungry House for a curry. Boy, was I happy I did and that I chose Curry Cottage.
It was a cold evening made brilliant by the Curry House angels who descended down and delivered a super fast, and very delicious Lamb Biryani. Being abit of a Curry Connoisseur myself I was so impressed with the tastes and portion sizes. I will be having it again tonight and maybe tomorrow :)

Again the meal was wonderful, as was the value and service, well done

I have only found one other curry house that I like and they dont do take away, so think how pleased I was when I received my meal yesterday and it was exceptional. My daughter agreed with me and we are both ordering from there again. Well done the Curry Cottage and I will be telling friends and family how good my meal was. Thank you.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Food was hot when delivered, very tasty and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant. A very good choice on the menu too. Definately would order again.

What a difference the usual two free popadoms would have made ! Otherwise very nice with good vegetarian options.........still disapointed about the popadoms, credit crunch, now no crunch!

This was the first time I've ever tried 'Curry Cottage' and was pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely with a large range on offer and was really reasonably priced. Am really pleased to have discovered somewhere new to try in Barnet.

Ordered from here for first time on Saturday , following a visit to their restaurant last week, which was so good it inspired me to try their take away delivery service. Their restaurant itself is very nice by the way and very tastefully decorated with polite staff and good service. At the restaurant I had chicken tikka roghan josh which was truly exquisite. The mushroom rice was pretty spectacular too. For the take away yesterday I had the mushroom rice again, which was as nice as before, and also chicken tikka madras. It was nicely spiced and the chicken was good quality. Not too hot at all either and didnt make me feel is if my mouth was on fire. The other half had chicken tikka starter and tarka dall and she tells me both were very nice. The order was also quickly delivered and overall i was very happy with the service and will definitely use Curry Cottage again via Hungry House (I love this site by the way - it was so easy to use and I really like the way it gives you updates on order progress). All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Person who delivered our meal had been smoking right outside our front door so when I opened the door all I could smell was cigarette smoke instead of curry, it was rank. As far as I am concerned, food and cigarettes should never be combined in any way shape or form. Sort it out Curry Cottage. I have used your restaurant for years, don't make me change.

Think I chose poorly form the menu anyway - but the food took a long time to arrive and was cold.

 

It's the third time I order spicy pappadom and I receive plain pappadom!!!!
