I had a Tandoori mixed grill and although the chicken tikka was cooked to absolute melt in the mouth perfection, I found the lamb tikka a little chewy. The Tandoori Chicken was wonderful and the other lamb kebab well spiced. I wish I had ordered a dish with a sauce though as it was all quite dry.

This is perhaps the tenth order we've made from Dawat and they're always quick and the food is excellent. They always seem to provide extra popadoms and chutneys, and often we too too benefit from the gift of a bottle of Cobra.

A minor glitch - it seems churlish to mention that the mixed pickle was missing when there were extra popadoms and a Cobra included.

Again - excellent service with a smile, well inside the time window. Food hot, transported in a thermal box. Quality was excellent and included a couple of complimentary popadoms with accompaniments and bottle of Cobra. I haven' tried the restaurant yet, but I intend to when the weather improves!

Ordered early (first time) for an 8 o'clock delivery and it arrived on time. Food was excellent - plenty of meat in the curry, rice was light and fluffy, fishcakes wonderful and sheek kebab great. Top it off with the bottle of cobra which arrived with it and the best Indian takeaway we have tried!
