The quality of the food overall wasnt that great. Considering the dearth of options available (esp when it comes to curry houses) I don't think I will be ordering again from DT.

first time I've ordered food through Hungryhouse and will do so again as I thought it worked well.
The level of service would be higher but they forgot the mint sauce (I ordered and paid for two and only one arrived they also didn't put any on the chicken tikka kebabs which they always have in the past. I use the restaurant quite a lot and generally the meal is perfect they arrived about 40 minutes or so after ordering which I thought was fine, normally I go and collect it. Tony, E11

Our order was missing an onion bhaji and the nan bread was burnt and inedible, but apart from that the food was very tasty and would have been very good value for money if not for the missing or burnt items. No excuse really to miss items off a set meal!

I didn't like any of the curries i ordered, they were absolutely awful!!!! what a waste of my money!!! had to chuck it in the bin, regretted not cooking at home at least i would have had a proper meal.

Yuuuummy! I often order with Dil Tandoori, and I'm never disappointed! The food realy tastes like home-made food and you can feel in the (simple) delivery service there is a genuine desire to make you happy. Enjoy!

The food (that you get) is excellent, but for the second time in the last few months they didn't deliver part of the order, this time the naan bread was non-existent. In one way good - didn't go to bed feeling completely stuffed, but still - not what I paid for.

What a find. Stuck as to what to eat we searched the web and found hungryhorse.
Everything was taken care of and we didnt even need to leave the house ;-) The food from Dil came sooner than expected so was still pipping hot, making our mind up was simple because of the easy layout of the menu on hungryhorse. As far as Indian food from a high street restaurant goes, Dil is avarage, but if you want a 1st class ruby, you need to pay the spondooley. We ate, we drank, we slothed in front of x-factor. I prefer the Sag Paneer to be melted and not hard pieces of cheese. Also didn't say on menu that the special fried rice had meat in it. We didn't eat it. Otherwise good.

Well, the price was ok for the amount that we received on our order, but when it arrived, the Raitha was literally the cream with chunks of cucumber on top, the chicken pakora was bits of tandoori chicken bread crumbed and fried (that's NOT how chicken pakora should be. It looked like scotch eggs) it was ll in all very bland in flavour. The delivery man had to come BACK as he forgot our drinks and all in all I'm sorry to say that the food, that we were looking forward to eating was a let down in the end. We wont be ordering from Dil Tandoori again unless the standard picks up.

Delivered the wrong things - should have come with rice, they decided to give me sag aloo instead. Food took over an hour to arrive, which is poor when ordering at 6pm before the evening peak has even begun. Unimpressed tonight, Dil usually does far better than this.

The meat in the dishes was good quality and tender, the sauces were also delicious. The vegetarian dishes were tasty although they had too much salt and not enough spice. It would als be great if you could request for dishes to be a little more spicy, as we are seasoned curry eaters.
Overall the food was great and we will definatley order from Dil again Louise, E7
