Dim sums were lovely as always. However they advertise (at their menu) that every order over £35 gets some dim sums for free + prawn cracres for free, we got nothing so I was a bit dissapointed by this. Also the spring rolls were packed only in a paper sachet so it reached us really cold (usually they put them into a box which keeps it warm better). So not so great as before I must admitt.

I love their dim sums, noodle dishes are good as well but not exceptional ;-). The order arrived in good time and was all right, however the dim sums sauce was missing.

I was told that as I live far from the restauarant why did I expect hot food! when I asked for a refund and offered to deliver the food back to restaurant personally I was told where I could go! I then asked to whom I was speaking with and the answer was Jackie Chan!

Meal took over an hour to arrive and was cold when it got here. Far too many large fresh chilli's in the beef king po which were spicy to chew but hadn't flavoured the sauce much. But the sauces were not too sugary and sticky, and the best tasting Chinese dishes I've had locally.

All sounded good, and I thought for the money it would be a bit more special, but no it wasn't.
Won't be ordering from there again . Best stick to the one I know.

Quality dim sum. Rest of meal well above average. Arrived bang on time. Only quibble was tub of chilli oil put in bag upside down, coating all the containers in messy red oil. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Delicious food. Really original dishes and the dim sum is as good as any restaurant quality.

When you pay premium you expect great packaging seeing chilli sauce poured into bad is disappointing.

Best ribs in town poor on the chops but disappointing delivery from the manager who fails to crack even a smile whilst delivering cold pork buns late had to call to chase food up

I have ordered some fairly hot main dish which I would be glad to have with rice but there are none "side orders" at your menu, so I thought that there is something contained in the meal. Therefore next time I would appreciate that you indicate clearly that the meal does or does not contain a side (rice/noodles). That was the only dissappointment with my order.

For a takeaway the Dim Sum was fantastic quality. On a par with the likes of Ping Pong which is my favourite eat-in dim sum place. Will definitely order again and may even visit the restaurant. Pork buns were amazing.

The food arrived very quickly (within twenty minutes) and was very hot. To my taste, which is typicaly chinese or indian takeaways, it was exceptionally tasty and varied. The only place I have tried dim sum before was in a fancy restaurant in Singapore and I would have to say that Dim Sum House is on par or superior to that meal. I would highly recommend this takeaway to anyone.

I was rather excited about this place after reading a couple of other reviews and despite finding that £4 delivery charges was extortionate, I placed my order anyway as I wanted some good Chinese food and I had a 20% off voucher on Hungry House.
I placed my order a bit before 18:45, selecting delivery ASAP, that is, between 19:05 -19:50. My food arrived shortly after 19:50, just when I was reaching for my mobile to call them and ask them if they were having any problems with my order!
Anyway, on the the food ... When I opened the bag, the chilli sauce had spilled out of its container and was seeping through the lid of the container beneath it! Whoever had taped the chilli container did not really check whether the tape was doing its job of holding the lid into place! Next disappointment, on opening the container, the dumplings were almost flat, not a good sign as this suggests overcooking, making the dim sum soggy ... and well, the lack of flavour did not make things better either. The rest of the meal was not much better! The only dish which had some flavour was the prawn dumplings... Sorry, but won't be ordering from Dim Sum House again...
