The Dim Sum was lovely.

 

The dim sum were excellent, delivery was fast and for £23 for 2 not bad value especially considering we could happily have fed another person.

Straight to the point; the food is excellent. The flavour and quality is way over and above the usual standard of most delivery takeaway and is a good reflection of how it tastes in their restaurant (which I've been to twice and thoroughly recommend). What isn't so great is that one of the dishes ordered (Scallop with garlic flakes) isn't 'some' scallop, it's just one scallop. Not so great value at £6.80. Will order from them again for sure, but will choose more carefully.

 

How happy I was, to see a dim sum place open up around the corner.

This was sharply rebuffed by the fact that the delivery driver had no understanding of where the flat was. I had to speak on the phone with him 4 separate times. Once he did come he asked me "where did you find our restaurant?". "We are in Golders Green?". This would have been fine if not for the fact I was made to feel that I had somehow inconvenienced him in some way. Sorry!

Down to the food. It is not cheap, however, for good dim sum you wouldn't expect it to be and I am happy to pay. However, the rice didn't come with my meat. The meat itself (pork and duck) was extremely fatty, this type of meat is meant to have a good portion of fat, but not more than meat.

The portions were fine. The dim sum that we ordered were tasty and the people I ate with were over the moon with their pork buns.

Overall not brilliant and I have no intention of going back there.

This said, If you live near Golders green (i live in east finchley) I think the experience would be more pleasing.

Delicious food, but a little cold. Really VERY good quality dim sum. If they could get them steaming hot to my door I'd order every week.
