My curry was really watery and lacked flavour, my boyfriend also said there was absolutely no flavour on his curry and that we should have just opened a jar...not great! Also, they sent me the wrong rice. Overall, very very poor.

I moved to Leyton recently and needed a new good curry takeaway. Elachi has easily fitted the bill - the food arrived on time, piping hot and the generous portions were tasty and not at all oily. The vegetarian thali is good value for money and Elachi will definitely be one of my regular takeaways from now on - highly recommended!

When I first started living in Leytonstone, I made an effort to try all the Indian Takeaways in the area to find the best, and I concluded this was the best. The food is certainly not 'excellent', but its good takeaway fair.

An excellent meal full of flavour - the only thing I would say is that the chicken portion could have been a little bigger but that it because it tasted so good!
