i have been ordering from fortune house for a long time and the food i recieved tonight was what i would compair to slop!!! black bean sauce was not black bean sauce but watered down gravy, rice was horrid and the omelette was extreemly burnt and basicaly inedible I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND FOOD ALL IN THE BIN NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Having been a long time customer of the Fortune house I thought it couldn't of changed that much under the new owners, how wrong was I! It was digusting the food was completely inedible, £12 crispy duck was a half a try of some sort of cheap fatty meat with no skin, no bones to show that it came of a duck I couldn't eat it. I opened the bag of chips and the smell of chip fat was overwhelming and they looked horrible, the less said about the salt and pepper ribs the better. So a meal that cost £20 I had to pay £2 delivery, that's outrages a meal that cost £20 the delivery is usually free. So everything went in the bin, stay well clear from this place it's not anything like the Old Fortune house. AWFUL.

The worst chinese I've ever had, very
bland no flavour what so ever. Didn't Know you could get pineapple with no taste. My son said his was the same will not buy from here again. Viv, M23

I have been ordering from the Fortune House for some years now. But on this occasion i am convinced the restaurant has been take over by new owners. The food was not up to the same quality as the previous owners and the portion sizes have become a lot smaller. Overall, i dont think i will be returning again.

Must have been an off night! Meal was ordered at 18:51. I was notified of a delay because they no longer did 2 of the items I ordered. After the confusion we waited for the meal. At 20:16 the meal was delivered and the quality was awful! The chicken was dry and stringy. The Peking sauce was overwhelmingly vinegary! I've had a few good meal from there but this one really was the pits!!

prawns in special fried rice had no flavour to them and the beef was fatty in the szechuan style beef, loved the crispy duck with pancakes though and the salt and pepper chips were nice too!
