Good food and at a good price - the portion sizes are really generous, more than enough to fill you up!

It took over two hours from the point when they accepted the order for the delivery to take place. Two calls to the restaurant/takeaway were answered rudely and impatiently. When I eventually got the delivery, it had a different item from one I had ordered and they had accepted.
The driver was polite though initially reluctant to admit that he was as late as he was.
I complained to HungryHouse and they initially answered with a standard, sorry it was late, we have contacted the owner and they have assured us that it is now delivered and hope it didn't spoil your evening too much (well, it did as I had ordered the food for my grandson who after waiting an hour, decided to go out and get something to eat rather then spend the evening with me concentrating on his homework which was the original plan).
When I pointed out to HungryHouse that I not only got the food late, but also at least one item was different, they offered to reimburse the cost of the item and offered me in addition a £4.00 voucher.
About the only one who came out with some kudos was Valerie from Hungry House.

We ordered veggie burgers, which we very tasty, it came with chips, but they were a bit stodgy. The onion rings were OK. The delivery man was very nice and apologized for being late, even though it was only 5 minutes after it was expects. Good value for money, managed to get 2 veggie burger meals and some onions rings for about £8

The sole reason I have rated the food fair is that possibly the packaging meant that the food was rather saturated making it impossible to grab the burger as one would. The flavours however were wonderful.

The chicken was well cooked without any of those slimy greasy or somewhat pinky areas near the bone.

The chocolate cake was perfect. Just the right amount of fudgy icing that did not overpower the scrumptiously light chocolate sponge.

The chips were plentyful though again, due to the packaging possibly, they seemed as if they had been boiled rather than fried. It impacted more on the texture than the flavour though.

my burger came a bit soggy but other than that it was ok .

The driver was not friendly, asking me via phone to pick up the food from a location 8 - 10 minutes away by foot. Don't know if the driver was really the owner of this business, but it semed to be very important for him to mention that at my door 20 minutes later.

I was not happy with the driver calling me and asking me to pick up the food somewhere else, the food was almost cold when we got it. We won't order there again.

Good pizza, and good offers, but they take more than one hour to come. Anyway, the food was great.

We enjoyed a lovely take away! A vast selection, good quality, and everyone enjoyed it! Very good value for money, especially the pizzas and the meal deals! Will definitely use Freddy's again!
