Chicken Katsu was like chicken with Thai sauce not a curry sauce. The duck curry was also horrid. There was lots of duck but it was very fatty and chewy. Wouldn't recommend.

Our order arrived super quickly and everything was delicious. The Mussaman curry and pad Thai were among the best we have had from a takeaway. The salt & chilli squid was melt-in-the-mouth amazing. We will definitely order again. Will make sure not to order separate rice next time, as all curries come with rice.

Lovely food, I always enjoy a takeaway from Friends. Used to order from Putney but since it has closed down, it's still well worth the drive to Earlsfield for collection; especially as it is still steaming hot by the time i get it home! This time I ordered a dish I would normally order at a well known Japanese food chain, and I am pleased to say I prefered Friends' version, even though I enjoy both! Delicious food, complemented with great service from the friendly servers.

I frequently order food from Friends and I am never disappointed. However, this time around, I ordered the crispy garlic chicken which was less than satisfying. I have ordered this dish from a number of restaurants before and it is one of my favourites. However, I was disappointed to find that the dish was oily, hard (I almost broke a tooth!), and the chicken seemed to have been fried to a point that it had all but disappeared. I must say that I am surprised that this dish came from Friends as they usually deliver tasty, well-cooked, fresh food. I hope that this was just a one off.
