Tasty crispy shredded beef, everything was hot and fresh and it came on time. Thrilled to have found a take away that is the right balance between naughty treat food and pocket friendly.

We've used Garden House a few times but this will be the last unfortunately. The starters were delicious but a bit pricey and the mains were disgusting. The tofu vegetable noodles tasted burnt and the vegetable curry was so bland it was terrible and I couldn't finish it. It's a real shame but the standard of Garden House has gone down considerably and I won't be ordering from here again. What a waste of money.

If i went to China I don't think I would find a tastier sweet and sour chicken, than the one from Garden House. I would have to get them to deliver where ever I am in the world... The best Chinese food this side of Beijing!

We've been looking for a decent takeaway for ages, and now we have it. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was lovely and smooth (no lumps!), but with enough meat. Salt and chilli ribs were chopped very tiny, but had loads of flavour. Lemongrass and chili chicken and chilli and blackbean beef were both pretty hot, but we loved them. There'll be no leftovers tonight!

Chicken wings with garlic and chilli were really delicious, the spare ribs were less so - just not as flavourful. Overall though, pretty decent food and was delivered pretty quickly and still hot!

The food came on time and to be fair we did order it really late (gone 11) but that still doesn't explain the quality of the chicken in the curry. Not sure why some chinese restaurants think they can get away with serving rubbery reformed substances which taste and look like its been no where near a chicken, but unfortunately Garden house have gone down this route. The chicken in the chow mein seemed normal enough and the crispy chilli beef was hot and tasty. Delivered quickly with a friendly smile so no complaints there but if they want to attract our custom again they need to up the quality of their poultry as chicken curry is my favourite dish!
