Excellent curry, less oil, best takeaway. Great. Good value for money, big portions. Definitely be ordering from them again.

One of the best take-aways i've ever ordered. delicious! The only thing that let it down was the food being lukewarm, rather than got when it arrived. will definitely buy from here again.

A reliable Isle of Dogs restaurant, I sometimes try takeaways elsewhere but the curries of the Gaylord always bring me back.

First time I used hungryhouse.co.uk to place my order and was amazed that I can do everything online without having to speak to anyone. My order arrived promptly too. However the food is OK. I didn't find it exceptionally good for the price I paid. The good thing about this website is you can compare prices before ordering.

Awful. I have never had a curry as bad as this. The Chicken Dhansak was hideous and all tasted only of black pepper. It was bizarre and unpleasant. Weird! The chicken itself tasted old and was so dry it was difficult to eat. Needless to I left after two mouthfuls, what a waste of money. The chicken pakora was old, dry and the chicken itself had obviously been cooked in the tandoor, then covered in breadcrumbs(!) and deep fried. It was awful. The dips all tasted a bit funny and I was left feeling a but ill and still hungry. Won't be going back and I'd advise other members on here to stay well clear. 0/10!

This may be the best delivery restaurant on the planet. Food was on time, delicious and hot (as always) and came with a free bottle of wine, and because it was valentines' day, A ROSE!

Meal wasn't as hot as it should have been. Bearing in mind i only live about 400m away form restaurant. Also didn't receive a student discount which we had seen advertised.

I have been a regular customer of The Gaylord for many years and usually I order direct. My experience of the last delivery was poor; the quality of the food was not at the level I expected - I did not finish my meal. This is the first time I have cause for complaint but it does dent the reputation I had given them. I am hoping that that this is an aberration.

Excellent quality curry (both my meaty one and my girlfriend's veggie one) and sundries. Bottle of wine was provided chilled (unlike some other restaurants) and there was even a rose with the order.

Only slight let down was that the order was missing the two poppadums (but included the chutneys that were meant to go with them) - but that's a minor point. Generally very happy with the meal and service.

Vegetarian dishes especially good, Food not dripping in ghee as alot of curry places. Easy delivery but popodums cold and stale. However would use again

Superb service, food, price. Highly Recommended.
They even brought my wife a red rose free of charge.
