Delivery on time. Tofu in black bean sauce had no taste at all, not much pepper or Tofu, but lots of onion instead. King prawn with cashew nuts literally had only 3 pieces of cashew nuts, again lots of spring onion. The other two dishes were ok, but I actually woke up and vomitted last night.

Too much onion and very little duck meat mostly duck skins. Delivery on time.

Fast delivery, very polite delivery man. Food was nice. I did try something new which was a ti greeen curry however i didnt like it at all. Crispy chilli beef was lovely as was the beef stew and seaweed. All in all this was a lovely meal and a great start to 2012, i would recommend this restaurant and will certainly re order. Big thanks

as a first time customer of golden empire i was pleasantly surprised to the taste of the ingredients was good and the quality of the products was more then average

The Duck and the ribs were dry and tasted as if they had been reheated from an earlier time. The vegetables were good and the sweet and sour was good but the beef was tough and grizzly. I would prefer to go to a restaurant or order takeaway and wait for it to be cooked.

 

I personally thought this food was poor. the rice was cold the prawn crackers were awful and soft and most of all i had satay chicken and there was a sharp bone like a wish bone on the stick this was enough to put me off the rest of my meal which i payed 32.10 for. im not happy and would like some response to this matter. thank you

This was about the 10th delivery we have had from the Golden Empire. As always the food was great - hot, tasty and perfectly cooked. It is a little bit more expensive than some chinese takeaways but we think it's well worth paying the extra for this quality of food.

They failed to read the requests i had so should have called them... Was disappointed.

Extremely quick delivery, highly impressed, will use again

This is the second time I have ordered from here from the comfort of my home and the food is as good as any other Chinese take away I've tried. The service is quick and the food is hot on delivery. The prices average the same as any where else. I don't believe many people know they do a delivery service as they look like a restaurant-not a take away so give them a go!

 

Ordered a sweet and sour chicken and 70% of it was onions. Was really unhappy with it.

Food wasn't good because the chilli oil was all over the food, that made the food spicy and couldn't eat it. this is the first time complaining, otherwise all the food I ordered before was delicious.
