The five stars next to this restaurant's name are misleading. I ordered egg fried rice, spring rolls and spicy ribs at a cost of eighteen pounds. The meal arrived within the time stated however, the egg fried rice was dry and lacked flavour, the ribs were portions of ribs cut in two and three and then spiced so that there were some pieces that were entirely bone. The spice was not particularly tasty. I understand from my guest that the spring rolls were okay.

The food was lovely. However, I was a little puzzled at getting extremely little sauce - it left acres of rice with nothing to have with it. Now, this littleness may be correct and it's me that's ignorant, or that lots of cheap Chinese takeaways smother the course with sweet and sour sauce which they do. It just seemed rather excessively meagre.
It was in very good time, polite delivery, so overall I would have given it 5 stars all round if I had had just a little more a than a couple of spoonfuls of sauce. Wasn't cheap but compared to others, not overpriced. Sheila, NW6

I think this place is a little pricey (it's certainly more expensive than most of the other places), but that said, the food is excellent and I guess you pay for what you get. I've had the same order twice from them now and it's not disappointed either time. It may well become my staple Chinese order from now on! The sweet and sour pork is probably the best takeaway sweet and sour pork I've ever had - not too saucy and a great balance of meat-to-pineapple, the chow mien had the perfect ratio of noodles to other ingredients, the shredded beef had a good amount of spice without being over powering and the rice was just the right portion size (unlike many places where you end up throwing most of it away).
It will take a lot to make me choose somewhere else in future. Steve, NW6

I eat a whole lot of take out and I always try new places to see the if I can find any hidden treasures amongst the hundreds of restaurants.
This food was of a good/slightly above average standard. I did only have a selection of starters though. It is definitely not just your normal chinese. It was better than that. Equally however it certainly wasn't worth the price, and the standard didn't warrant the nice packaging. I felt in fact like the packaging was probably the reason it was so expensive. I won't be using it again because it just isn't as premium as the price suggests. James, NW11

The mixed meat chow mein was excellent and the service was stunning, less than 30 minutes from the order being submitted to the food arriving fresh and hot at our door.
