Dry chicken, pointless delivery charge considering total cost of order. Food was terrible,

Food was rather late (took 85 mins) and I had to ring up twice to chase them, both times I was told it was on the way! When it arrived it was luke warm and not the best quality. I will not be ordering from them again.

The food took an hour and a half to arrive and turned up stone cold. The noodles were either uncooked or had been left out so were rock hard. The tempura was ridiculously soggy and everything was stone cold. The delivery man didn't know if the order had been paid for in advance and nearly didn't believe me when I said it was. What a god awful experience.

The food is normally a cut above your standard Chinese. But then with the sky-high prices you would expect that at the very least. Coupled with the £3 as standard delivery charge - no matter how much you order - this can only be considered a "Premium" service.
So you can understand why were we hugely dissappointed with this meal. It didnt turn up till 40mins past the latest expected delivery time - which is shockingly late. We had to call the restuarant to 10mins after the deadline to be told it had only just left with the driver. When it did turn up it was stone cold. Not only that but it was missing an item. We had to call the restuarent who begrudlingly said they would send the driver back round. When he did come back though - he didnt wait for us to answer the door - he simply rang the bell and left the item on our doorstep. Not even a quick sorry for missing the item. Not even a sorry on the original delivery for being so late. So whilst the food is pretty good - when delivered on time and hot - we cannot justify eating from here again. Especially with these high prices. Very dissappointed. Paul, KT2

Smoked chicken, Beef with Cashews. Smoked chicken was delicious. Beef with cashews was good. I liked how the cashews were in a separate container so they stayed crunchy. There was quite a bit of a filler vegetable (unidentified) and PEAS, which I could have done without.
Even though I registered, the restaurant did not receive all my information as they rang me, confused about the address (it was an office building). They thought the name of the company was my name as they didn't have that. Was frustrating as I completed all the info. Thought the food was pricey but will use again as a special treat. Michele, TW3

Ordered sweet & sour Pork hong kong style & crispy shredded chilli beef.
The sauce for the pork was mostly vinegar. They forgot to add the chilli to the beef & it came with a vinegar sauce too. The delivery was super quick though! but we wont be ordering from them again. Natalie, KT2

The delivery driver went to the wrong address so I had to call to redirect. The food was therefore late and I received no apology. A quarter of the food was not what I ordered.

The Food which arrived late was cold. The ribs were of such poor quality i would not give them to a dog. The crispy beef was was so hard it was like eating stone.
Never again will I order from this place Neil, SW16

Although a bit pricey the quality of food and speed of service was second to none from Gourmet Oriental. The meal was beautifully packaged and the food presented well for a take-away service.

Relly disappointed with the quality of the dim sum. They arrived gummy like texture, they buns I had to throw away so that was half of my £14 gone. Will not order from them again.

I ordered at 4pm on a Sunday and it turned up at 5.10pm. Sadly it wasn't worth waiting for. The Pad Thai was completely tasteless, just tasted of plain noodles with prawns. The Malaysian curry was also very glad. The dumplings were good although all stuck together. The spring rolls were passable. perhaps it is starters they do well....
