Rice & noodles were nice. But the chicken and black bean sauce wasn't nice. The chicken looked like it wasn't cooked. That jus put me off eaten the rest!! :(

Was very disappoinyed with this takeaway. Firstly it was cheap so wasnt expecting it to be amazing, but was expecting it to at least be edible. The vegetable spring rolls were so greasy i couldnt eat them and the curry sauce weirdly smelled and taste of butter. Got the feeling that if i'd eaten these things i may of been ill. Which left me with just some egg fried rice to eat which of course was very dry without the curry sauce and some chips which were ok as chips go but found it ironic that the best thing in my chinese takeway was something i would call english. The order did arrive promptly but doest really count for much when the food was so bad.Will not be ordering from here again.

The quality of the food was very poor, the seasoning and overall taste was good but the meat was undercooked leaving myself and guest a stomach upset which lasted for 2 days.I certainly won't be ordering from them again.

Food is average but not too bad for take away food... Had much worse ones!!

How to start... I never feel comfortable about rating something low, because I don't set my expectations too high, at the end of the day it is takeaway, but I have to do it this time to level the ratings because I was not impressed. First, the food took an hour to arrive, being a restaurant means that they have most of what they need to cook prepared already, they just need to throw the prepared ingredients in a pan and cook them, so I don't understand why they took so long to deliver. The restaurant is also 1.2 miles from here, and the house is on a major bus route so they should know better. In regards to the food, I ordered three things: egg fried rice, duck hun fun and squid with green onion in black bean sauce. The rice was warm, greasy and not very appetising. Since it is just rice and eggs, I will move on, nothing else to say about this dish. The duck hun fun... No fun and no duck in this dish! First, it was full of bean sprouts, and I managed to find two pieces of duck, exactly. One piece was actually the skin, which is still duck, but I paid for a dish with duck meat, not duck skin. I honestly only felt the flavour of the bean sprouts because they put in so much of it that it overpowered the whole dish, completely removing any taste of the noodle or the already scarce duck. The squid dish was so-so... The squid pieces were nicely scored in a criss-cross pattern and looked appetising, but I counted 5 small pieces in a pool of black bean sauce that was full of sliced chunks of onion, carrots, and I think bamboo shoots. Again, I paid for squid with green onion in black bean sauce, not the opposite! What I got was black bean sauce, lots of it, in a little squid, with almost no green onion... Disappointing! I wouldn't buy from this restaurant again.

I've always liked the food at this restaurant, but this was the very first time I had it delivered and surprised me that the man who delivered it didn't say a word. He gave me the bag and went.

Our food from Green Villa was fantastic as always, unfortunately upon delivery we discovered our mini vegetable spring rolls were missing from our order...Our sweet and sour chicken balls, chips, egg fried rice, special fried rice, crispy shredded beef in chilli, roast pork Chinese style and banana fritter were all delicious.

We only ever order from Green Villa as we know we will always receive our food quickly and whilst it's still hot! Plus it is particularly tasty (the beef in black bean sauce is fantastic)

They also often give us a few cheeky extras like bottles of water, prawn crackers, soft drink etc.which is always a nice touch.

Although our spring rolls were forgotten, this is the first time in our order history and it's not something I would hold a grudge for as the service is usually fantastic!

Thanks for the great food Green Villa...perhaps you can throw in the spring rolls next time ;-)
