Ordered a 12 inch pizza it was freshly made but could have been nicer for my first order, the toppings were all good but the pizza base was burnt and by burnt i mean charcole black and left a horible burnt taste, if the pizza wasnt burnt then i would have been very nice indeed also i only stay 5 mins walk from the place and they charge £1.50 delivery even tho it said free delivery on orders over £6.00 but they didnt charge me delivery when i asked about this which made it beter, dont think i will order again because the next day i still had that burnt taste in my mouth, the prices are fair but can get beter food and prices from another takeaway, ok thinking about it if the pizza wasnt burnt then i would order again.

We enjoyed our meal so much that we ordered again tonight. I had decided to risk trying the lamb chops, though I was worried that it would be a small portion as lamb chops are quite pricy. I was also concerned that they might be dry and tough. I needn't nave worried. I received five tender, juicy chops, with a crisp edge of tasty fat, and that gorgeous chargrilled flavour and scent that makes you think you're sat outside a taverna in Corfu on a balmy summer evening, instead of holed up inside a flat in Scotstoun with the wind and rain howling outside! Ok, I'll calm down now... There was a little side salad with the chops, which was welcome. I did ask for pasta with it, but received chips, hence my "fair" score for service today rather than good. The other party tonight had the "wild mushroom risotto". Again there wasn't anything wild that I could see about the mushrooms, but there were plenty of them, and the risotto was lovely, very rich and creamy and warming. Again it was a long foil container full up, so don't be worried that you will get a miserly portion or still be hungry after. The food arrived within 50 minutes which is fine for mid evening on a Saturday, and was hot (I hate receiving lukewarm takeaways). Now I'm skint from having three takeaways in one week so will have to dream of the lambchops and risotto until I can justify my next one. :p
I'm not sure if the takeaway owners read these reviews but if so, I would ask if they could do more than one sugar-free drink - the only one they offer at the moment is coke. Irn Bru sugar-free and God forbid 7up or Fanta would be nice to see, for the diabetics among us, apart from the dieters! :-) Kathleen, G14

This was my second order with this takeaway. I was so impressed by my first one that I ordered again the next night. I had the set pasta meal. Unlike most places that do set meals, the main course part was as big as a non-set meal one, being a generous portion of a long foil tray filled up. I had the chicken parmigiana which was very nice. The breaded chicken breast wasn't huge but it was tender and suprisingly juicy, though it did have some kind of heat to it, maybe chilli powder, which i didn't expect. It had melted mozzarella cheese on top of it. The tagliatelle had a tomato sauce through it, with biggish pieces of green pepper and onion, which could have been a bit softer. The garlic bread was two LARGE slices, with a lovely chargrilled scent to it. I also had a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream which was very good. The slice of cake was a decent size, was dense and fudgy, and it came with three scoops of plain ice cream which had chocolate sauce on top.
The food arrived piping hot within 35 minutes of ordering it, 20 mins before the time estimated on the site. I've been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food from this place and it makes a pleasant change from the usual Chinese, Indian, and Kebab options. The portions are generous, the food is cooked well, fingers crossed that the quality remains like this. Kathleen, G14

This was my first time trying this takeaway and I was very impressed. I had the crostini for a starter, which was two BIG slices of bread (the same bread they use for the garlic bread) generously topped with tuna, slivers of onion, and in this case fresh coriander rather than the advertised basil. I hate coriander so didn't enjoy biting into a hidden piece of it, but then I picked the rest out. Apart from that the crostini was hot, crisp, fresh and had the most gorgeous chargrilled smell to it, like you usually smell when youre eating out abroad. Highly recommended. For the main course I had the Grillicious chicken. It was slices of chicken breast in a creamy quite cheesy sauce in tagliatelle. The advertised "wild mushrooms" were anything but, they were very tame ordinary mushrooms but still tasty enough. The asparagus was of course tinned, but was whole spears, and plenty of them. I would just ask that they cut the spears up a bit, as they are very difficult and quite stringy to eat when left whole as they were. The portion size was good, filling up a long foil tray. They were v tasty though. The apple crumble pie with ice cream was very nice, a good sized portion again.
Id say this place need to change their "wild mushroom" claim, and it would be very helpful if they told you what kind of pasta you are getting with your pasta dish, there is nothing on the menu to tell you. It says on the menu that delivery is free, but I was charged £2 when I live only 1.4 miles away, along Dumbarton Road. When I later looked VERY closely, there is a little symbol which you can click to see exceptions. Given that this takeaway is located in Partick G11, it says that G11 is £1.50 extra delivery fee! So I can't see any area that actually is free. I think hungry house need to sort this out, as I imagine a lot of people are paying delivery fees they didn't expect. Apart from the delivery fee oddness, I would highly recommend the above takeaway, for generous portions, nicely cooked food, and price. Hope this review isn't too long, i wanted to answer some questions that I had myself before I ordered, that might help others. :) Kathleen, G14

I would have said excellent value for money except we didn't get our cans of juice and then couldn't get through to the restaurant to complain. This is not the first tme this has happened either. We have previously ordered from here and didn't get our full order. The only reason I ever order again is I like the food.

The food was lovely, the only criticism I have was that they sent out the wrong ice-cream! Not a massive problem, but one of our party is coaeliac and couldn't have their pudding...
Other than that, delicious food and great value for money. M, G51

Food tastes ALMOST good but everything was WAY too salty. Cut down on salt and I will order again, otherwise, unless you have an endless supply of juice, it's impossible to eat.

Food arrived quickly and still hot. Flat bread and pasta was actually very well made and quite tasty. The mozerella sticks and wedges were standard affair but not bad. also good portions. will eat there again
