Great tasting food. Sushi tasted very fresh

 

Good food. Good service (switched some of my rolls in a combo no problem). Took a long time to come though.

Long wait but worth it

 

We have been fans of Hana for many years, the sushi is always freshly prepared with excellent variety and quality. As it becomes more popular on 2 occasions we have had to wait far too long for a delivery. The food more than makes up for short coming! Try the seared sea bass with truffle oil and the fresh crab inside out roll, you'll soon be addicted.

Thoroughly disappointed with the service we received last night. Three phones calls and 2 1/2 hours of waiting before our food arrived. I was told that they were very busy (hardly an unusual occurrence for a Friday night) and that a driver had broken down. Whilst that is unfortunate it still doesn't excuse that length of wait. Had hana called me to inform/sent an email I could have a)cancelled the order and gone elsewhere or b) picked up the food myself. And on calling to find out what was happening, I suggested that as such a long wait is really unacceptable, I would presume they would part refund the cost of the order. I was told at best I could get 15% off my next order. Hardly compensates really. I use hana a lot and enjoy the food. I accept at the weekends a wait is inevitable and I would suggest one hour is about the norm. I will be carefully considering whether to order from here again.

First and last time ordering food from here!! duck terriyaki dish tasted strange and the spicy tuna sushi was horrible. I've had much MUCH better!!
