Excellent food with the exception of the sweet and sour chicken balls (coating was too thick, but the chicken was lovely), prompt delivery and wide variety of menu options.

Dont normally do reviews but felt compelled to for this one, firstly if i had wanted to microwave a meal i would of gone to asda's, food was freezing cold ( set meal for 4 ) and my special curry was the biggest puddle of grease ever not to mention i had to spit out the toughest stale piece of pork in it i had the misfortune to place on my mouth.

Very tasty food and excellent service. A good variety of more interesting options to pick from as well. Some of the dishes look a bit expensive but the quality was at the right level for the price!
I think it is a shame that Chinese takeaways rarely try to describe the less familiar dishes on the menu. I am sure they would sell so much better with some pointers on what to expect. Here is my contribution for House: Beef hot pot - Rich, slow cooked, beef and root vegetable stew. Tasty but not spiced. Cooked with lots of glass noodles so quite filling all on its own. Double cooked fish - Slices of fried fish and mixed veg served in quite a dry sauce of black beans and dried chilies. Reasonably spicy. Very tasty! Stir fried broccoli - Broccoli and mixed veg served in a light, garlicky sauce. Fresh and delicious. Tony, SE7

What a totally disappointing order from Home. We ordered duck and pancakes, shredded pork and capital sauce and our regular chicken dish with rice. The order arrived on time but we had no rice. We tried the shredded pork, which cost £8, and it was gristly, fatty and tasteless. So we called to complain about the rice and also mentioned the poor value for money of the pork- all we heard in the background was a lot of shouting in chinese! The quality of the duck was atrocious- it was basically just a container of burnt skin and bone. Our usual chicken was fine but a very small portion. We usually love this Chinese but this experience has most definitely put us off.

Myself and my family were very disapointed with the food we recieved! the duck was so burnt, it didnt taste like or look like any duck we have previously had. The chicken balls were over cooked and the rest of the food was greasy and tasteless . We Will not be using this restarant again and will not recommend to anyone.
