Not very nice

Ordered from here as our usual Chinese was closed, read the reviews and checked out the menu really liked the look of the food, so placed an order.
Food arrived in good time but when the delivery guy went to take it out of the delivery bag, the paper bag broke and the food dropped back into his delivery bag - not a great start. Took the bag in and noticed all the sauce from my prawn and scallop dish had leaked out (hence why the paper bag had broken in the first place). Delivery guy was really apologetic to us, even told us he would make a complaint to the chefs as they seem to fill the tubs up too much, making the lids loose.
Our starter - salt and pepper ribs, was disappointing; they were quite dry and had quite a bit of fat on them still. Our free starter - chicken balls, were much nicer, not a thick coating of batter and quite a decent amount of chicken.
The main meals - seafood noodles and the prawn and scallop dish were a little lacking in flavor.
Overall, bit disappointed with the meal which is a shame as it had so much potential!

Delivered very quickly. Food hot and tasty, and packaged well. Good quality meat and vegetables used in dishes. Would recommend.

Lovely food, great service

There are lots of good places to eat in the area but these are the best. Great menu and the food is superb.

Chicken balls were horrid, chunks of chicken slathered in batter , yuck. Some of the dim sum was stuck to the containers & ripped when we tried to get it out.

Possibly the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. The quality of food was excellent - not the standard greasy rubbish you usually get. The food arrived hot & fresh within 20 mins of ordering. And although it is fairly pricey, the portions are very generous. Highly recommended.

Ordered three meals, all of which were marked as vegetarian on the menu. Unfortunately they were not made with sufficient care as one of them had some errant pieces of meat in it which ruined someone's dinner. Took 90 minutes to be delivered but it was Friday night so is understandable. First time and last time I'll be using GC Kitchen.

Dim Sum was excellent, delivery was fast. And the chicken balls were enormous - more like half chicken breasts. Will definitely order from here again.
