Even though I have had food delivered to my address before from India Cottage (and was extremely pleased with the food and delivery on that occasion) I was told by the driver this time that it had taken him longer because I had not given them more directions and that there were 3 roads of the same name in the area. I told him that I had in fact stated on the hungryhouse website what main road my road was off of and given the postcode, so if he needed to complain he should tell the restaurant for not giving him enough information. Also, the food was not hot enough to eat and had to be reheated in the microwave. It's a shame because, as I said, we were very pleased with India Cottage the first time, but on the 2nd occasion they let us down.

I have dined at the India Cottage a couple of times over the last 6 months and it is absolutely gorgeous. Nice staff and excellent food. This is my first takeaway from there in a long time and to be able to order online was really useful and easy. The food arrived well within the time it was promised and it was really good. The only criticism is that the food was only just above lukewarm but it didn't detract from the taste and quality. All round very good.

In general, everything was fine. Our only real criticism was that the food seemed rather oily/greasy, which wasn't to our taste, which was a shame because the food was good otherwise.

Never again would I order from this place. It around an hour and 15 minutes to arrive after 2 telephone conversations with a rude delivery man following the nature of 'Boss where is your house'. You would have thought a delivery man would either have a map or a tom tom! When the food arrived, the delivery man was adamant that I had not paid for the food. After a few minutes of arguing and me offering to show my internet proof of purchase and threatening to call his 'boss' he left me in peace to enjoy my cold, oily, bland food.
