Absolutly brilliant. The meal was without exaggeration the best Indian meal I've ever had. Three of us ordered and we all thought the same thing. Out of the whole meal which was delicious the samosas we incomparable to any I've tasted before. This is the level of quality you get from an exquisite Indian restaurant. Will be ordering from George's again!!!

My biryani turned up as just a box of rice with a little chicken throw in, no sauce or anything. When I called the takeaway they were very rude and difficult to talk to. NEVER AGAIN, I WILL AVOID INDIAN GEORGES LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Excellent service both the website and the restaurant. I was able to buy food on behalf for my partner who lives in another city simultaneously as I ordered it for myself. This is a very attractive new venue for long distance relationship couples!

First time use of this restaurant - thought we'd try somewhere new.
Quite disappointed... They tried to charge us delivery as outside their usual area. After I stated that I'd entered my postcode on the website they decided not to charge. I love curry but this was not to my taste. The Chicken Tikka Massala sauce tasted more like BBQ sauce and the meat was not great. Kes, LE3

Response from hungryhouse:
Hi Kes, I'm very sorry to hear that there was this confusion with the delivery charge for this order. Your order was initially accepted with no problems, but it seems they realised that it was too far after this. Because of your message, I have asked our account management team to get in touch with the manager and make some adjustments to the delivery areas that we have set up. Sorry again for the problem - I hope you still had a great evening despite this issue. [Customer was also emailed] |

The food was too oily. We asked for the food to be hot but could not taste any spices at all. It was the worst food ever!

Curry was so bad it went straight in the bin. Rice was greasy. Naan was just a pizza base.
