We ordered the chicken tikka starter, which was delicious. The chicken pepper starter, which we'd never tried before, was a really nice portion size and tasted amazing. The special rice was cooked to perfection and the Bhajis, pakora and chips were tasty as always. The food was delivered quickly and piping hot. The delivery driver was friendly and asked how we were. We would recommend this takeaway.

Ordered mixed vegetable Vindaloo and Mixed vegetable Samber with 2 portions of mushroom rice and a portion of onion bhajis. The order arrived surprisingly quickly and the delivery man was polite and cheerful. The order came with free popadoms which was nice. The onion bhajis were the ball shaped style rather than the flat style and were of very high quality, nice and crispy and accompanied by a salad which tasted very fresh. The curries were very generous portions and tasted great, much better than average. My only real criticism is that the mixed veg in the curries were really unimaginative and seemed to just be tinned peas and carrots. This however, is only a problem if vegetarian really but as a vegetarian I can't choose any other option as they don't have a mushroom option for the main dishes. I'd like to see a mushroom option available for all dishes and more imagination put into the mixed vegetables such as use of cauliflower, courgette and aubergine. I did feel that vegetarians are more of an afterthought here. It is worth noting that the price of the vegetable dishes reflects the quality of the vegetables but I'd rather pay slightly more for better quality and selection. The mushroom rice was lovely but would be better in the larger foil container as the curry portions are so generous. Overall I'm really pleased with my order and will certainly order again as the food tastes great, was lots of it, arrived quickly and was great value for money. It's certainly one of the better Indian takeaways I've tried in my delivery area so worth giving a try.

This is the best Indian food in Manchester. Freshly cooked by friendly staff and always delivered quickly. I will be a regular customer from now on!!

Best Indian in south manchester, really unique curries that actually taste different from one another unlike a lot of other takeaways. Had the green herb chicken and Kathmandu chicken this time and both were fantastic. The taaka dal is a really tasty and different side-dish as well. Although you should collect from the store if possible as the staff are fantastic, really friendly. 10 out of 10

 

Massive massive portions, really good value for money and everything we ordered tasted great too - definitely better and less greasy than the average Indian take away. They phoned up beforehand to confirm our address and let us know they were on the way too. Good service would definitely recommend.
