Fast delivery and hot. Food was great and fair value for money. They did bring the wrong flavour ice-cream, but nothing was forgotten. Would definately used them again through hungryhouse.co.uk

I have ordered from this place a few times before and the food/quality has always been good. This time the food tasted OK but was not that hot when it arrived. I had to heat it up again, which is not good. Having said that, I would probably order from them again.

I live in San Francisco, California. My sister-in-law lives in Lewisham. This poses a slight problem when I want to throw a baby shower for her. Creative solution: get the Jasmine Garden rec from my brother, use this awesome easy practical quick website to order a full menu for the parents-to-be, and wait for the satiated and surprised squeals from several thousand miles away.
I cannot vouch for the food personally, but my brother/sister-in-law said everything really hit the spot. They scarfed down the following menu in 10 minutes flat, and then lay on the sofa in deep food comas. S, SE13

The food arrived 40 mins passed the latest guaranteed time, and nearly 2 hours after I ordered - despite me ringing several times. When the food did arrive it was tasteless and plain.

Used this restaurant a few times and always had to wait longer than the estimated time. Persevered as the chicken shreds are particularly good. Tonight though the service was worse than I've ever experienced. 20 minutes after outside expected time I called and received a very curt proclamation that my order was en route. Asked the person to double check and assured that was the case. 25 minutes AFTER that conversation I called again, asked a different person of my order, they went away and kept me on hold for 5 minutes, came back and informed me my food was not even ready to leave the restaurant.
Appalling service, average food (except the chicken shreds). Bit of a lottery if you receive food within 2 hours of ordering. Dan, SE23

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a food store in my whole life. I ordered my food at 6.30pm with an expected delivery time of no later than 7.40.. Guess what?!.. I recieved half my order at 11pm!! 4 and a half hours later. This is what happened: At 8pm I called, he told me the driver had an accident (probably lies) and that he is going to send another one out straight away. I called back again at 9pm, he told me he will phone the driver straight away to see where he is (bearing in mind at this point my stomach was doing cartwheels, I was so hungry!) he never phoned back. At 10pm I told him to cancel my order I thought this was absolutely stupid at this point. I've never heard of anything like this. He told me he will send the food out for free (basically stating he never sent it out in the first place) I was so furious at this point I didnt even want their stupid food. At 11pm the "driver" finally knocks on my door' not even saying sorry. He just said "its free" then walked away. I orderd chow mein, spicy wings and belgian chocolate waffleS (with an S meaning more than 2) when I opened the box the chow mein was not closed properly so it all poured in the box I couldnt even eat it, the spicy wings was nowhere to be seen and I received one measley waffle with no sorry. Never again! Stupid idiots, I AM FURIOUSSS RIGHT NOW!

The delivery takes about 1.30hr. PadThai chickhen has no taste, and it can rarely see chickhen, compared to another restaurants offering Thai foods, it is still below the standard

I ordered monk fish but I'm not sure it was monk fish, because it tasted more like common codfish; I also had fried-rice with pork, chicken and shrimps, but the pork had an awful look and taste, and the shrimps were raw. Overall, the food tasted more like very poor-quality chinese food whilst it was supposed to be thai. I am very disappointed.

my experience with jasmine garden was very up and down. Firstly i forgot to add a rice dish to my order so called up. the lady initially told me to make another order of 10 pounds (-_-) but then agreed to have a steamed rice without charge as i had no change. when my order arrived i was very pleased as it was around 20 mins earlier than the quoted time. Also the food arrived in the loveliest box.Almost worth what happened next. on inspection of my box i realised the chocolate waffle i had ordered was misssing, i called the restaraunt who gave thier apologies and said they would send it out promptly.an hour, yes a whole hour later. i called jasmine garden back and was told they were waiting on a driver that was going in my direction. 20 mins after that and a almost 2 hours after my order had been delivered, my waffle finally arrived in the a paper bag in the drivers hand. i opened it and it was just a cold unheated waffle still in the the plastic packet. after i had toasted it and added my own ice-cream the waffle itself was actually delicious, embedded with small chocolate pieces.A pros and cons of jasmine garden;
pros *generosity with my free steam rice when i forgot to add it to my order *the pretty box the food will arrive in *my order initially arrived quite quickly *the chocolate waffle is actually yummy cons *my desert was missing *it took over an hour for my desert to arrive *the prawns in my king prawn balls were very over cooked they were almost dust lol *not much vegetable variety in my king prawn and vegetable dish, no brockley, carrrots or baby corn maybe just mushrooms and been sprouts That is All xoxo Rochelle, SE4

THIS WAS TRULY AWFUL. It had been an hour & a half so I rang them to see where my food was. They said they forgot. So had to wait another 30 minutes for then to make it then obviously deliver it. Everything was well overcooked and the chicken satay sticks were beyond dry, they were so brittle and plastic tasting. the spiring rolls were over done and barely any filling. the rice was overdone, the sweet and sour chicken was lacking any chicken. Only plus was the box it came in but it was a really bad order. I also ordered a cookie pie and they forgot to bring it. Then I rang and they asked me what ice cream I wanted I said vanilla and they brought chocolate :(

It was over 20 minutes late, so I called the restaurant and they told me it would be another 15 minutes, but it took 35 more minutes to arrive. they offered me some free ice cream- but as i dont have a freezer i asked for some drinks instead- but got ice cream anyway.
the food was a bit cold even though I live close by to the restaurant, and the spring rolls were just filled with what seemed like a lump of cabbage that you couldn't bite through. The beef in black bean sauce had no spice to it. disappointing. Emily, SE14
