We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala but it didn't taste good. It was tasteless.

I ordered the saag paneer and chicken dopiaza which were both really tasty, this came with complimentary poppadoms and chutney and delivered within the stated time. It’s easy to see why this place has been around for 20 years, this is the best indian takeaway in SW London, I’ve been a customer for several years and the service and quality of food never disappoints me. Food was lovely, 3 stars for service only as delivery was significantly later than estimated. However, it was a wet, windy Saturday night when most sensible people were staying in and ordering take away.

I know it was a Friday night but it took an hour and a half to arrive - the guy at the takeaway did call me exactly at the time the confirmation email stated would be the latest time saying he was waiting for a driver and that it would be about 10 minutes. That turned out to be 20 mins - but the driver was very smiley and very pleasant however didn't directly apologise for the late delivery - I would normally tip the driver - and even though it might not be his fault out of principle I did not this time (I did feel a bit bad - but my missus was fuming...). The food was hot, there was loads of it, and was good. It is excellent value I will give them that! Please K2 - an hour and a half is too long!!!

I was very dissatisfied with the service I received from K2. The food did not arrive within the time set and I had to phone the takeaway to find out where it was. When it was delivered, the delivery man was incredibly rude and told us not to order from them again. As the takeaway is based in Wimbledon, my address is apparently not within their delivery radius and I was unaware of the distance when ordered from them. I think the way I was treated as a paying customer was completely unacceptable and had it been clear from the beginning that the takeaway was too far away from my address, I would not have ordered from them.

Response from restaurant: Hi, Thank you for your review and comments. Please accept my apology for your recent experience and the unfortunate incident involving one of my drivers as this is most unusual for us here at K2.
Following my telephone call to you last Saturday and having heard both sides of the story, I can confirm that the driver in question will not be delivering for us in the future as this was the 3rd complaint regarding his conduct recently. Please be informed, all my delivery drivers are made aware at the start of employment which post codes are within our delivery radius and it is not in their role map to get into discussions or confrontations with our customers regarding matters such as this and rest assured I have reminded them of this.
On your second point regarding the delay of your food, once again, please accept my apology, as an extremely busy and successful business of over 20 years, we receive huge numbers of orders and although we prepare for every eventuality on the odd occasion things go wrong and an order is delayed, sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control, as you can see by reading some of the reviews it is not always possible to please everyone all the time, however, I welcome your feedback as this gives us the opportunity to make things right for you next time. Excellent fast delivery! Food was lovely, topped off with a complimentary side salad popodoms and dips. Fantastic value for money set meal, which allowed me to try something I wouldn't normally have but will be having again! Lovely sat night treat. Thank u x
