food was only slightly warm when it arrived. I requested all sauces to be put on everything but that was ignored too

Food was absolutely gorgeous!! Must comment on the portion, it was too small, definitely disappointed with that. Onion Bhaji was stale and cold!! Would be better if it was fresh!

We have been to this takeaway many times, and will go again and again. Every meal has been delicious and full of flavour. It doesn't have the standard vindaloo/madras etc on the menu, and seems to be more authentic than 99% of Indian take-aways. The prices are higher than average, but when the food is that tasty and freshly made, it's worth it. The delivery is sometimes slower than average, but they tell you that if you phone your order. I would rather wait and get great food, than get rushed food that isn't cared over. I can honestly say that their place is the best takeaway food I have ever had, and it's consistently excellent. If you order a curry, they also ask you how hot you want it. The lamb and chicken is full of flavour and tender, as many places use cheap lamb and is often fatty and chewy. Care is taken with the vegan and vegetarian dishes, and are not just an after-thought like many takeaways vegetarian dishes are.
My personal favourites dishes are: Tandoori lamb chops; tender, lean and great depth and diversity of flavour. Spring lamb chops handi; lean chops with a delicious curry sauce. Desi murgh masala: A "dry" dish, so not a lot of sauce, but real depth of flavour. Good portion size. Seekh lamb kebab: Nice and spicy, but has depth of flavour. Aloo palak: The spinich has a lovely flavour. Only criticism is that there isn't enough potatoes in this dish. Special Tarka Dhall: Delicious again. A dish I have not noticed before, is the aloo chana, which I intend to try next time. The only thing I wish this place did, was bombay aloo!! I think this place should open a big proper restaurant, instead of the small cafe-style place they have. I think I'd be there a couple of times a month!! Jackie, LS9

Food was delivered hot, quick and excellent quality. Staff was also friendly and helpful as we rang up to ask a question over an item not on the menu. Will defiantly recommend to others and use again myself.
