It's strange to be writing a review of a restaurant that said they would be late but in the case of Khan's it is an example of what good customer service is about. I was emailed to say that they expected to be 5 minutes late, which might seem trivial but shows great understanding of customer service. In the end they delivered early, in fact earlier than the original time specified.
One other thing I noticed was that the portion sizes were very good. Normally it is a case of tonnes of rice and little curry but with Khan's there was plenty of rice to share between 2 and enough curry in each portion to feed two (in reality this just meant lunch the next day was easy!). My only slight gripe is one that seems to be apparent with most Chinese and Indian restaurants. almost all of them promise free prawn crackers/poppadoms but you never get any! Khan's promised free poppadoms and a free bottle of beer, neither of which came with the order. If you can find me a restaurant on that lives up to their promises of free items then let me know! We've had Khan's food in the restaurant several times and loved it but the chicken tikka masala I had on this order was shocking - it tasted of nothing but gloopy sugar, there was no trace of tikka spices or indeed any indian flavours other than coconut. Service was astonishingly slow considering I was ordering one dish and live 2 minutes from the restaurant. Based on this experience we will not waste our money on their food again.

I have just moved to the area and this was the first Indian restaurant I had ordered from. The Food was reasonably priced and Khan's food was delivered quickly and tasted great. I would recommend

Had to call them as it took over an hour to deliver, and the order was passed quite early in the evening. food was ok, nothing amazing, but good quality. Portions could have been a little bigger I think. Fair value for money.

I'll start with a disclaimer - have ordered from Khan's a few times over the phone - every time quality of food and level of service was brilliant. Couldn't find menu, so ordered thru HH.
Yesterday, the food came towards the end of the allotted time (which is ok), but the Naan and tandoori mix were totally cold, as were most of the other dishes - and you don't really want to reheat a Naan and Tandoori. Shame really, as I really do rate their food very highly and would not hesitate ordering from them again, but only IF I'm assured the same wouldn't happen again. Toufique, SW2

Food arrived pretty promptly. The murgh ceylon was spicier than expected. So when it says Vindaloo hot, take note. I usually ignore the UK spice ratings. Overall, pretty good value for money.
