Great food and value, although order was a little mixed up will defiantly use again

Although we have an Indian restaurant / takeaway in the village I still use Kushboo Spice. The range of food on the menu is fantastic. The take away delivery is quick and the food is at the correct temperature.The portions are good, so plenty of everything. The web site explains all the dishes and it is fun choosing and tasting new things !
Highly recommended by my family and friends.

they must be really busy as order took hour and three quarters. Food not hot and not as good as some. May just be an off night but with the number of quality Indian takeaways in York I will not be trying again.

the curries were really sweet... tooo sweet to eat infact, and not very hot(as in warm).

everything was lovely except thr chicken rogan josh which was a bit tastless, service was spot on.

 

Food excellent, order took 1 1/2 hours to be delivered, i had to ring them after an hour an 10 mins and they were just bagging up the order then!

Took over an hour to arrive and when it did they forgot the poppa dons and theynaan bread was old and chewy

Another fabulous meal from this take-away. The best Indian food I've eaten in York for a long time.

This was the first time we have ordered from this particular takeaway and what a pleasant experience it turned out to be! The popadoms were lovely - fresh and crisp - and the pickle tray we ordered with them was delicious. The onion bhajis were excellent, as was the saag aloo. The highlight for both of us was the main courses we ordered. I had the best dhansak I've eaten in a very long time. It was cooked to perfection with just the right combination of sweet and sour - plently of lentils in evidence too (an essential part of the dhansak, sadly lacking in a few I've had recently from other establishments!). My husband decided to be adventurous and ordered something he had never had before, the daal gosht karahi, which he praised very highly and said he would definitely be ordering again (I had a taste too and it was seriously good!). Ordering from the Kushboo Spice was a totally positive experience and we think we have made a great discovery in finding it!

Lovely food and really good value. Had asked for plain rice and was given pilau but other than that it was fantastic.
