salad out of date (grim)
pizza burnt, tasteless, chips soggy, due to being put in plastic tub...not a good idea.... We hardly ate any of our food.... and the delivery guy was also rude..... I phoned and complained about the above, and was informed "when" I next order i'd get the same free... hmmm, nah your alright! Joanna, N3

This was my first pizza since returning from Italy so thought L'Artista would be the best choice. The order was accepted at 6.40pm and arrived at 8pm, pretty much cold. I called the restaurant at 7.50 to chase up the order but was not given any apology at all. So disappointed cos I do love L'Artista so much. Maybe it's just somewhere you don't order from and only eat at their restaurant. A real shame.

The food arrived 90min after the order went through. Focacia was semi burnt and my main dish wasnt what i ordered. Ate the salad and the non burnt half of the focaccia had to throw the rest out as i am intolerant to the ingredients in the main course they delivered. Didnt bother calling for a replacement to be sent out given the time it took them to deliver the first time around.

Hendon L'artista is always good value. Their pizza is fantastic - fresh ingredients and not oily like some pizza chain pizzas can be (and the carbonara is pretty special too!).

Pasta dishes were both very nice, ingredients seemed fresh and the prawns especially were excellent. However, the garlic pizza bread was a bit tasteless, despite being full of garlic - an odd combination! Otherwise would have given an excellent for food quality. Just a bit more seasoning needed to make it great. Not cheap but good enough to offset the price.

I ordered the usual wild mushroom risotto but I got chicken in it, and it had no seasoning basically it was like cream and rice and chicken and mushrooms :( and the caesar salad was very bitter, I think it's cause if the burnt parts of the chicken

Took them almost 2 hours to deliver the food. I ordered Spaghetti with meatballs and.... it came without the meatballs. Of course the driver was already gone by the time I opened it. All that money for plain spaghetti...

The food arrived at the time it was meant to which was great. The food itself was good but didn't make me go wow. The chicken was a bit dry but my fiancee loved his steak. The price we paid was a bit too high so probably not a place where I would order on a regular basis.

I had an American pizza and it was really good, especially for the money. My girlfriend had pasta which she said was medicore but still a big portion for the money.

When I want Italian takeaway, I simply wouldn't go past L'artista through Hungry House. I've never been disappointed.
